The last day of the Iceland visit was spent in Þjórsárdalur, an area where the Iceland Forest Services has planted and maintained a forest for almost 80 years. There the participants had practical excercises, under the guidance of Tomas Ivarsson, based on timber sorting theory he explained the day before.

After the practice everyone received a certificate confirming that they had taken the course, as well as a certificate confirming their participation in the TreProX Iceland workshop.

In the evening the Árnessýsla Forestry Association invited the group to their main base,  Snæfoksstaðir. Their staff showed the group different types of Icelandic forests and afterwards the group has it‘s last dinner together in their house on the premises.
